WHO WE ARE
Starlight Music Studio is an
instructional studio located in
Star, Idaho. We offer electric and
acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano,
voice, drums, and violin. We offer
both private and group instruction.
We teach a variety of styles and
genres including classical, blues,
jazz, rock, country, pop, and
contemporary worship. All ages and
ability levels are welcome at the
studio. The studio is owned and
operated by Terre and Jennifer Tuck
in their home. There are 4 studio
rooms and 5 instructors. We are
family-oriented, friendly, and
nurturing. We believe in mixing
quality instruction with
musical fun. We teach music theory
and solid technique.
Terre and Jennifer met in 1991 and
were married in 1994. They have been
collaborating musically since the
beginning and have written and
performed both separately and
together. (See the staff bios for
more info on each.) They have 2 sons
and have a family band called
Tucksedo which performs locally and
regionally.
Music is for Everybody
We believe that everyone needs to
express themselves creatively. Music
is a powerful medium which has the
ability to unleash an individual's
inner passions and emotions. It is
good for the mind and soul. To give
someone music is giving them a
lasting and lifelong gift.

Last year the studio taught
over 2000
lessons.

Last year we hosted 3
recitals- the Singer's
Classical
Tea
Recital, the Christmas
Recital, and Spring Recital
& Potluck.

We are community minded. Our
performing groups have
performed at Artswest Battle
of the Bands, City Light
Home for Women, Nampa
Festival of the Trees, Boise
Festival of the Trees, Down
Syndrome Buddy Walk,
Meridian Tree Lighting, Star
Tree Lighting, and Star Mule
Days.

Our students have competed
in festivals, talent shows,
and Battle of the Bands.
Several have won trophies
and medals.

Many of our students have
written their own music and
some have made their own
CD's
and demos.

Some of our students have
chosen music as a career
or ministry and have
received college
scholarships in music.

Our instructors are terrific
with kids and
enjoy working with teenagers
and adults.
