Private Lessons
Private
instruction is
available in 30
minute sessions at
$72 flat-rate per
month. Custom
lessons plans are
drawn up for each
student in the first
two weeks. Starlight
Music Studio has an
open-door policy and
parents are welcome
at anytime. Parental
attendance works
best for younger
students so that
parents know how to
help their children
in practice at home.
Parents and
instructors form a
partnership and
should communicate
frequently as to
each student's
progress. Students
are expected to
practice a certain
number of hours a
week based on each
students age and
level. This will be
determined together
by the parent and
instructor.
Group Classes
We offer group classes
depending on the current
needs of our students
and enrollment levels.
Currently the classes we
offer are Esteem Vocal
Group, Adult Group Piano, Garage Band, and Music For
Little Mozarts .
Esteem
Vocal Group
Esteem
is a high energy
show choir style singing
group for girls age
6-11. Choreography,
melody, soloing, and
2-part harmony are
rehearsed weekly for
public performance at
recitals and community
events. Participating
students must be
enrolled in private
voice lessons in
addition to the class.
The cost is a $18 a
month add-on to the $72
monthly tuition. (Plus
music and costume fee
TBA)
Teen
Esteem
We are
excited to now be
offering a performance
group with more
advanced choreography,
vocalizing, and harmony
for teen girls age
12-17. Students must be
enrolled in voice
lessons and the cost is
$18 a month add-on to
the $72 a month tuition.
Garage
Bands
Garage
Bands are by invitation
only. Students are
selected by instructors
based on level and
readiness. If your
student is advancing and
would like the challenge
of performing in a
garage band, please let
your instructor know.
A placement can be
arranged based on
current availability.
Your instructor will
discuss costs involved.
Adult
Piano Class
Have
you always wanted to
play the piano? Adult
Piano Classes are
offered for beginners in
a fun, stress-free,
interactive and engaging
environment. Classes are
45 minutes long and are
$250
per 16 week session ot
$75 a month. Note
reading, ensemble
playing, harmony,
technique,
popular, and classical
styles are explored.
Music For Little
Mozarts
Your
Preschooler or
Kindergartner can join
Mozart Mouse and
Beethoven Bear as they
learn music together.
Classes are 30
minutes long and
parents and children
attend together. This
curriculum is keyboard-
based and includes
rhythm instruments,
singing, movement, note
reading, and music
history. Cost is $50 a
month plus materials fee. Classes are
scheduled according to
age and readiness.
Preschoolers-age 4,
and Kindergarten- age 5
& 6. For more
